Hi I’m Gail. Over the years, I watched my family and friends struggle to keep up with tech. That inspired me to create my blog, Savvy With Tech, to simplify technology and make it stress free.

Technology has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have over 27 years of experience providing computer support in large corporations and small businesses. I went back to school in 2009 to get an Associate Certificate in Technical Writing so I could take my love of tech and become proficient at writing clear and easy to understand documents for people of all levels. I’ve become the go to person for family and friends whenever they have tech questions or challenges.

Being the youngest of seven kids, I learned early on how to solve problems and share knowledge, a skill that came naturally, thanks to my Dad. He was a TV and VCR repairman with a passion for technology, and his curiosity and expertise sparked my own love for all things tech. I’m often told that when someone has a tech issue it seems to disappear when they try to show me. It makes me smile when they say that because my Dad had that knack as well. Whenever our TVs were acting up we’d call our Dad to come fix it. As soon as he walked in the room whatever the problem was stopped immediately.

Along with my love of tech is my love for my husband and my two grown kids. In 2020 we added our pandemic puppy Willow to our family. We are all obsessed with her. Life is better with a dog! Don’t be surprised if Willow pops up in some of my posts every so often.
